In El Salvador, Trias has established a comprehensive approach which offers associations of enterprising people the opportunity to develop a culture of inclusion in a coordinated way. Our partners share experiences and exchange good practices at three different levels:

1. WITHIN THE ORGANISATION

Member-based organisations create the necessary conditions to guarantee equal opportunities for women and young people at policy level. The full participation of all members is a fundamental part of the organisation's culture, and a specific budget is earnmarked for inclusion efforts.

2. FROM PERSON TO PERSON

People are comfortable and engage in conversation openly and freely with other members of their organisation, even though they belong to different gender or generation groups. This idea of bringing people together strengthens the cohesion within the group.

3. AS AN INDIVIDUAL

People come to understand that their own way of doing things is largely based on conventional roles and expectations. By consciously acknowledging this, they can change behaviour in wide-reaching and fundamental ways, starting with themselves.
