The Philippine economy and politics is dominated by oligarchies that do not prioritize combating poverty. The country is characterized by high levels of inequality and social exclusion. Together with its institutional financiers, Trias supports its local partners to provide opportunities to underprivileged farmers and entrepreneurs to develop their enterprise and grow. Linking member-based organizations of the countryside with those in the cities is key. We follow up closely the core capacities of all partners.
